Copyright Policy

All content (text, images, videos) posted by Humanexus on any of its online platforms (Website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) is owned by Humanexus and may not be copied or used (apart from shared as link) by others without prior written authorization from Humanexus’ Chief Executive Officer.

Anyone copying or using Humanexus’ online content without prior written authorization from Humanexus’ Chief Executive Officer, will be sued by Humanexus and risks being subject to punishment according to Swedish copyright law, which can include fines and up to two years in prison, or to punishment according to laws in the copyright violator’s country of domicile, or to punishment according to laws in the country from which the copyright violator conducted the copyright infringement.

Explaining Cookies..

When you visit a website, its server passes messages to your web browser about your activities and preferences, et cetera, on the website. E-mail

Humanexus provides a disclaimer in all its outbound e-mails, explaining that unless told otherwise by the e-mail respondent, Humanexus stores e-mails containing personal data content for as long as it can be considered necessary and useful. The disclaimer also expresses that no e-mails to- and from Humanexus, containing personal or sensitive data, may be shared verbally, literally, or electronically with any third parties without consent from the person or organization whose data it regards. One of Humanexus’ strictest policies in terms of e-mails is that no personal contact data may be shared, including: address, phone number, and e-mail address. Individuals’ professional and company contact information may be shared internally.

Humanexus trains all its holders and users of Humanexus e-mail accounts on how to look out for hackers, phishing e-mails, malware, and what measures to take against them for data protection purposes.

Anti-corruption Policy

Humanexus has zero tolerance for corruption, including fraud, theft, money laundering, tax evasion, data manipulation, blackmailing, and bribery, and strictly prohibits its owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, or clients from engaging in any of those or similar activities, whether related or not related to Humanexus. Humanexus enforces immediate and non-debatable cease of employment or involvement with Humanexus of any owner, partner, employee, freelancer, intern, collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, or client, who appears to have (through careful consideration and investigation), or who has been proven to have conducted corrupt activities. As a further consequence, Humanexus might also sue current or previous Humanexus owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, or clients who have engaged in corrupt activities.

Humanexus is not and cannot be responsible for its collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, or clients’ actions, but does not knowingly accept or engage with those who are, or appear to be, involved in corruption, and Humanexus makes systematic efforts of screening potential collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, and clients.

What is corruption?

Corruption is the gradual process and result of breaking laws, regulations, and policies through corrupt activities to promote oneself or others, or to make financial gain for oneself or for others. Corrupt activities can include, but are not limited to, fraud, theft, money laundering, tax evasion, data manipulation, blackmailing, and bribery. Corruption is criminal and, depending on its scale and context, it may have immense negative effects on individuals, groups, organizations, companies, societies, and entire countries.

Research Policy

Participation consent & right to withdraw

Prior to including persons in research, Humanexus’ members must obtain participation consent from those persons, e.g., potential interviewees, survey subjects, focus group members, et cetera.

Humanexus members, who are conducting research, are responsible for and must thoroughly inform those who will participate or be included in the research about what the research is about, what the purpose of the research is, and what their participation entails. Moreover, Humanexus must present the final research product to all participants, prior to its publication, and await the participants’ approval of the content before publishing it.

Anyone participating in any of Humanexus’ research has the right to withdraw and to be eliminated from the content.

Confidentiality & Privacy Rights

Any data about or from a collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, client, or research participant provided to Humanexus, must be stored in a locked space, and may not be talked about or shared to anyone, including other Humanexus members, without the collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, client, or research participant’s prior consent. Humanexus members are obliged to handle collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, clients, and research participants’ professional and personal data with utmost confidentiality, adhering to their privacy rights according to local and international privacy laws and regulations. Humanexus and its members abide to Swedish Privacy Law and to the GDPR of the European Union.

Humanexus members must explain to prospective collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, clients, and research participants, that if they hear or see something (even pertaining to personal data) that gives cause for concern, for example, something that seems illegal, corrupt, harmful, unethical, or immoral, they have a duty to report it to Humanexus’ Chief Executive Officer, with or without prior consent.

Scientific research approach

Humanexus’ members, who conduct research, must:

1. Follow academic and scientific standards

2. Use a non-biased research approach, which includes researching and presenting all perspectives of a research topic, regardless of personal convictions.

3. Use a socially, politically, religiously, culturally neutral research approach, and make sure that this is reflected in the final research product.

4. Use reliable, reputable, scientifically legitimate sources, such as peer reviewed reports and journals.

5. Follow quotation, paraphrasing, referencing, and anti-plagiarism standards, and continuously check their research for any mishaps related to those standards, despite the fact, that their final research products will always be checked and double-checked by computers and proofreaders.

Plagiarism Policy

Humanexus introduces all its members to the concept of plagiarism and to its Plagiarism Policy. Therefore, Humanexus considers members, who conduct research, solely responsible for producing research that does not contain plagiarism. Humanexus has zero tolerance for plagiarism and enforces immediate and non-debatable cease of employment or involvement with Humanexus of any Humanexus member, whose plagiarized products have been published.

What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else’s work or/and ideas and passing them off as one’s own, verbally or in writing (digitally, online, or on paper), or in any other way. Even if not done consciously or purposely, such actions are still classified as plagiarism.

Non-disclosure Policy

Each material produced for Humanexus and/or for a client, whether virtual (digital or online) or real/physical (paper or other product), is owned by either Humanexus or its client, and may not be distributed or posted anywhere, other than as a link to Humanexus’ website or Humanexus’ social media, at any stage (during or after production) without prior consent from its rightful owner.

Humanexus’ Non-disclosure Policy also includes theories and facts, or any other form of knowledge obtained by Humanexus’ owners (not including the original owner and creator), partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, or clients about Humanexus and/or its owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, or clients, as well as Humanexus’ research, plans, projects, or innovations, whether past, current, or future.

Humanexus’ owners (not including the original owner and creator), partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, donors, associates, or clients may not benefit from Humanexus’ material and knowledge via any other entity than Humanexus itself.

A breach of Humanexus’ Non-disclosure Policy by a Humanexus owner (not including the original owner and creator), partner, employee, freelancer, intern, collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, or client, will result in immediate and non-debatable cease of employment or involvement with Humanexus for that owner, partner, employee, freelancer, intern, collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, or client, who may also be sued by Humanexus.

Social inclusion & Anti-discrimination

Social Inclusion Policy

Humanexus’ strength and success is based on its openness to diversity and strong social inclusion policy. Humanexus welcomes and respects all people, regardless of their skin color, ethnicity/culture, religion, age, civil status, paternity/maternity, sex, gender, sexuality, health status, body shape and size, appearance, clothing style, disability, and their peaceful practices. All Humanexus owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, associates, and clients are introduced to Humanexus’ Social Inclusion Policy. Humanexus acknowledges that people have different backgrounds, lifestyles, individual and special needs (professionally and privately) and, accordingly, takes all measures to best support each Humanexus owner, partner, employee, freelancer, intern, collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, or client.

Anti-discrimination Policy

Humanexus has zero tolerance for discrimination and, therefore, does not accept or engage with anyone who discriminates anyone, in any way or form. Humanexus enforces immediate and non-debatable cease of employment or involvement with Humanexus of any owner (not including the original owner and creator), partner, employee, freelancer, intern, collaborator, volunteer, supplier, donor, associate, or client, who appears to have (through careful consideration and investigation) or has been proven to have discriminated anyone in any way or form.

What is discrimination?

Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of a person or a group of people based on e.g., skin color, ethnicity/culture, religion, age, civil status, paternity/maternity, sex, gender, sexuality, health status, body shape and size, appearance, clothing style, or disability.

Anti-bullying & Anti-harassment Policy

Humanexus has zero tolerance for bullying and harassment and, therefore, does do not accept or engage with anyone who bullies or harasses anyone, in any way or form. Humanexus enforces immediate and non-debatable cease of employment or involvement with Humanexus of any owner (not including the original owner and creator), partner, employee, freelancer, intern, collaborator, volunteer, supplier, associate, or client, who appears to have (through careful consideration and investigation) or has been proven to have bullied or harassed anyone in any way or form.

What is bullying and what are the different ways of bullying?

Bullying is a repetitive, harassing behavior and activities that aims to harm, intimidate, and/or humiliate another person. Bullying can include mean words and comments, confrontation of weaknesses or flaws, name-calling, spreading rumors and lies, continuously excluding someone from a group or conversations, mean looks/eye contact, purposely and repetitively causing problems for someone, violence, any kind of assault, harassment, and/or abuse.

What is harassment and what are the different types of harassment?

Harassment is a form of bullying. It is a repetitive, aggressive, threatful, harmful behavior towards another person. Oftentimes, the harasser chooses a topic to harass another about, e.g.: skin color, ethnicity/culture, religion, political convictions, age, civil status, heritage, financial status, paternity/maternity, sex, gender, sexuality, health status, body shape and size, appearance, clothing style, disability, et cetera. Other times, the harasser does not necessarily harass the victim through a specific topic, but may instead harass through constantly calling, texting, e-mailing, or following the victim physically and online. – This type of harassment is called, stalking. Another example of a type of harassment is sexual harassment. Sexual harassment can be verbal (comments and/or threats related to sex or to the victim’s body, et cetera) as well as physical (touching, grabbing, or in any other way sexually violating the victim’s body). All types of harassment are equally unacceptable.

Whistleblower policy

Humanexus acknowledges the importance of whistleblowing and welcomes whistleblowers who can shed light on any wrong-doing, harmful, or illegal activity by Humanexus or its owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, associates, and clients in- and outside office spaces. Humanexus operates under Swedish Law as well as International Law, or any law(s) that apply to each subject at hand, and strives to maintain transparency, honesty, ethical and moral standards.

Humanexus encourages all its owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, associates, and clients to report it if they witness any of the following:

• Any violation of national- or international law or regulation

• Accounting and auditing misconduct

• Breach of Humanexus’ Anti-corruption Policy

• Breach of data security or misuse of Humanexus’ database

• Breach of Humanexus’ Copyright policy

• Breach of Humanexus’ Research Policy

• Breach of Humanexus’ Non-disclosure Policy

• Breach of Humanexus’ Privacy Policy

• Breach of Humanexus’ Social Inclusion Policy

• Breach of Humanexus’ Anti-discrimination Policy

• Breach of Humanexus’ Anti-bullying & Anti-harassment Policy

• Abuse of Human Rights

• Any wrong-doing or harmful activity

Whistleblowers can send their report to , or post it, anonymously, by mail to Fogdegatan 5, 26550 Nyvång, Sweden. If a whistleblower is not anonymous, or the whistleblower’s anonymity is uncovered, Humanexus will not discharge, suspend, harass, discriminate, or retribute against the whistleblower for sending a report with respect and in good faith without intending to damage Humanexus and its owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, associates, and clients. Anyone who retaliates against a whistleblower will be, immediately and non-debatably, discharged from employment and/or involvement with Humanexus.

Humanexus is committed to reporting or whistleblowing about anyone, including its own owners, partners, employees, freelancers, interns, collaborators, volunteers, suppliers, associates, potential clients, clients, clients’ associates, clients’ oppositions/rivals/competitors, found to be involved in policy breaches, wrong-doing, harmful, or illegal activity. Humanexus values discretion for all parties and, generally, reports such activities non-publicly, and will only use public reporting as a last resort.
